Delaney Tarr, a former student of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, who survived the 2018 mass shooting at that school, spoke about gun violence in schools with the Washington Post to mark the fifth anniversary of the attack that left 17 dead.
She reflected on the grief and horror of that day as well as how she and other fellow classmates started the “March for Our Lives” movement.
